The Britax Decathlon Car Seat keeps your child very secure with numerous innovative safety features including patented side impact protection, versa-tether staged release which stabilizes the top of the car seat to prevent forward motion in an accident, and HUGS, the Harness Ultra Guard System which keeps your child’s head in place and cushions his or her chest if needed. There are more safety features, but the Decathlon is also a winner in keeping your little traveler comfy. The infant body pillow can be positioned for little ones to deliver optimum comfort, while the padded five-point harness embraces your child firmly but gently, and adjusts to perfect tension with one hand.
The seat reclines in either forward or reverse position, so you are able to position the seat correctly for Mr. Alert or Little Miss Sleepyhead. The padded cover set is extra plush, too. The Decathlon has a trim base, and installs and tightens quickly, so it’s a great car seat to consider if you move it in and out of the vehicle frequently.
